I’ve never been very good at doing just one thing. Life for me is a mix of family, business, community, a little saltwater, a little sparkle, and usually a flamingo somewhere in the middle. I work hard, love where I live, enjoy bringing people together, and try not to take myself too seriously. Somehow, through all the different hats I wear, I’ve found a Ballance that works for me.

Hi, I'm Mary Ellon
I've spent my career in the professional nail industry — first behind the desk, and then in classrooms, at trade shows, and anywhere professionals gather to get better at what they do.
Somewhere along the way I realized that what I love most isn't only the artistry. It's the moment something finally clicks for someone: the technique that stops being frustrating, the product that finally makes sense, the confidence that shows up in their work the very next day.
Creative Ballance is where all of that lives. It's education, events, products, and the people I've been lucky enough to meet along the way gathered in one place, built on the belief that we all do better when we learn together.
